In the heart of Copenhagen the A XOCO by Anthon Berg flagship store is located at Torvehallerne KBH, Denmarks largest food market. The renowned chocolatiers at Anthon Berg, purveyors to the Royal Danish Court, have been producing fine chocolate for over 125 years. Conveying the distinguished quality of Anthon Bergs products, focusing on stimulating all 5 senses of the customers, was a key factor in the design of the store.

A large shelve with all the A XOCO products indexed creates the backdrop for the store. In front, a number of free standing furniture allow for the unobstructed flow of customers within the store. Shelve and furniture are made of solid oak, a material interrelating with the natural ingredients of the confectionary. The individual furniture have different functions; one catches the attention of passersby with a varying display of the packaged goods, another allows customers to smell, feel and taste the chocolate and at the third purchase is made after experiencing the extinguished chocolate dragées.
